The project is an artistic exchange between the artist Annie Eliasson and the componist Tilda Björnberg and explores the possiblities and experiences of interdisciplinary art practices. How do you translate impulses and emotional impressions into musical notation? How can a sound or a melody be ytransformed into a physical object?

Tilda has based on a collection of sculptures and models from Annies studio  composed the piece Remember Me for piano and string quartet that Annie has translated to an installation. The work has emanated from improvisation, where feelng and intution guides the way rather an idea of a fixed product or end result.

The installation and the composition have shaped itself around the ideas of natural processes and its relationship to memory. nature and memory as being in a state of constant change, everyday shifting, transforming, falling apart or revealing new details. fragmentary imagery emerging, weaving in and out of each other, breaking free, wanders off and returning back to its source.

Tilda Björnberg
