In Skev Koral, sculptures and texts intertwine, mingling the sacred and the everyday. The works carry visual and symbolic traces from church environments and folkcrafts. A crooked hymn – a chorus of materials and forms bearing layers, memories of use, wear, and transformation. Sculptures that both imitate and reshape; everyday tools and utility objects evoke a sense of familiarity at first glance, yet remain alien and unusable, emerging instead as artifacts, ritual objects, or sculptural hybrids.

A dandelion stem becomes sacred, felted paper fozzilizes.

vi gräva med bara händer
efter maskrosens hårda rötter
kasta oss ut i diken
slita de sega gräsen ur bäcken

i vägkanten böjd öfver bytet
skalande maskrosstjälken
och emellan dess hvita trådar
suga ut den bittra saften
